Favorite dining options near Little America

restaurant picks

Let’s talk about FOOD!  All that learning requires some serious  brain food and we have complied a list of a few of our favorite places to grab a bite!  You may want to stick around the hotel when you get hungry because Little America has some of the best eating options around!   In fact, the Coffee Shop is my NUMBER ONE brunch choice in all of Salt Lake City!  I highly recommend it!  However, if you feel like you must venture out a little, here are a few ideas.

For A Quick Bite And Pick-Me-Up:

Millcreek Coffee Roasters  Just a short walk from Little America, this little sustainability-conscious, locally roasted coffee shop serves some of the best coffee around!  Plus they have great little pastries & sandwiches as well.  Great for a quick bite, or a fun spot to gather with your new conference friends!

Raw Bean Coffee A 5 minute walk will land you in this local coffee shop.  You’ll find roasted coffee & baked goods which are available via a drive-thru or in a hip interior with free WiFi– a blogger MUST!  611 West Temple, Salt Lake City, UT 84101

All About The Food:

The Copper Onion Oh Copper Onion, how I love you!  This unique blend of house made, locally sourced dishes are a true gift to the pallet (try the burger or the beef stroganoff).  Enjoy a 3 course meal, or just a cocktail and cheese plate (don’t forget dessert) all found in a super modern-industrial setting!  For this one you’ll want to hop on Trax at the Courthouse station and take the 704 (going to the Airport) to the Gallivan Plaza station, then head East on Broadway.  Let me tell you this one is worth the effort (or Uber ride) to get there! 111 Broadway #170, Salt Lake City, UT 84111

The Bayou If you’re a fan of Cajun food, this is your place!  Plus they have an extensive beer list, plus live music… win!   645 State Street, Salt Lake City, UT 84111

Himalyan Kitchen Cheery mainstay known for its unpretentious Indian & Nepalese standards & expansive lunch buffet.  360 State Street, Salt Lake City, UT 84111

Eva Mediterranean-inspired small-plates eatery serving eclectic fare & cocktails in a stylish setting. 317 Main Street, Salt Lake City, UT 84111

Market Street Grill Local chain serving oysters & other seafood dishes, plus burgers & steaks, in a classy atmosphere. 48 W Market St, Salt Lake City, UT 84101

Even Stevens Eat and give back at the same time!  This sandwich shop is not only delicious, but for every sandwich sold they will donate one to a local non-profit.  200 South 414 East, Salt Lake City, UT 84111

Moochies Philly cheesesteaks, meatballs & sides in a simple setting with patio seating, with loads of free sauces that will knock your socks off!  232 800 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84111

For A Yummy Treat:

Gormandize  A darling, French-inspired nook with an all-day cafe menu which includes fabulous made-from-scratch desserts! 250 S 300 E, Salt Lake City, UT 84111

Eva’s Bakery The yummiest French pastries you’ve ever tasted (and a super adorable ambiance so you can stay up on your insta game) 155 Main Street, Salt Lake City, UT 84101

Les Madeleines A super cozy French-style spot, known for their made-from-scratch pastries & desserts plus a full breakfast & lunch menu!  Open 8AM-4PM   216 500 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84111

Grab A Drink:

The Beer Hive  a cozy pub with elegant, vintage decor that offers a wide range of craft beers & haute pub grub. 128 Main Street, Salt Lake City, UT 84101

Whiskey Street  A rustic lounge & eatery serving family-style American bites situated in a historic drinking district 323 Main Street, Salt Lake City, UT 84111

I could go on and on because honestly, there are so many great places around downtown Salt Lake, but our time is short, so these will have to do!  Let us know what you think.. Enjoy!
